Tanzanian beauty queen and actress Wema Sepetu has got big plans for the coming days after the coronavirus pandemic, one of which is to transform to a giraffe.
No, no, no. It is not a physical transformation from a human to an animal. She rather has plans to change her name.
She has played with the name Nyumbu, which means wildebeest in Swahili, for a while. Now it appears the Miss Tanzania 2006 was an exciting new nomen.
Her post reads, verbatim: “Tanzania kuna Mbuga za Wanyama Wanyama… Alafu kuna Wanyama Binadamu… Corona Ikiisha tukianza Utalii wa Ndani, Mtakapo ona Twiga mumuite Wema… Huyu ndo mnyama nafanana nae… Mambo yenu ya Kuniita Nyumbu mnikome jamani… Mimi naenda kama Twiga… Kwanza nimekaa ki Twiga Twiga kabisaaa… Nyumbu SITAKI… Ila Pia nilikuwaga nalizimia lakini tatizo linakuja kwenye mfanano, Iam Not Nyumbu… Iam Twiga…!!! 😜😜😜 .
“Wema The Tz Sweetheart… Wema The Giraffe… Wema The Last Born… Vinaenda… Wema The Nyumbu, mmmmmh sijui ila sina uhakika saaana…🤣🤣🤣 Ila fresh tu, kwani kitu gani…”
The post elicited laughter and a storm of emojis from her fans.
Amidst the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, it appears the hilarity is just in order.
